Recipient of the Potamkin Prize, referred to as the “Nobel Prize of Alzheimer’s research,” and a board member of the National Academy of Medicine, Dr. Bateman is internationally recognized for his major contributions to a greater understanding of Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

At the forefront of global research in early detection of Alzheimer’s disease, Dr. Bateman pioneered a blood test technology that allows for early detection of the disease, and the monitoring of the production and clearance of critical proteins in the brain that cause Alzheimer’s disease.

His presentation will provide insight into new technologies, therapies and drug treatments to combat this devastating disease.
