The Foundation is committed to investing in the organizations that support the health of our community and is proud to partner with the following organizations to build healthier and brighter futures for our neighbors in the community: Nine organizations working to address critical health challenges in the St. Louis community will receive funding through The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s Community Support Grants Program.

The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s commitment to building healthier and brighter futures for everyone extends beyond the hospital walls and into the community. The Foundation is proud to announce the distribution of $66,000 to three nonprofit organizations in the St. Louis region through its Community Support Grants Program.

Meet four research scientists and physicians who are raising awareness about the need for early cancer screenings, adjusting treatment plans for a greater and faster impact, and drastically improving diagnostic tools at Siteman Cancer Center to create more precise and personalized approaches to therapies.

The Foundation is proud to honor and install Dr. Debbie Lee Bennett as The Ronald and Hanna Evens Endowed Chair in Women's Health at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and is grateful to the donors who made this position possible. 

Through Foundation funding, BJC Community Health Improvement encourages gun safety to prevent violence and increase family health in St. Louis. By providing gun locks as a preventative service, the team aims to reduce gun-related injuries throughout the community.
