Give to the Employee Assistance Fund!
The Employee Emergency Assistance Fund supports employees throughout the BJC system experiencing financial hardship that impacts basic living needs by awarding a one-time grant. A total of $1.3 million in grants was awarded between 2020 and 2022 to over 2,000 BJC employees in their time of need. Our team can better care for our patients when their own needs are met.
Full-time employees may apply for up to $1,000 and part-time employees up to $500 in assistance with no payback required. The BJC Employee Emergency Assistance Fund Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis based on an objective determination of need. The Committee is comprised of volunteers appointed by the Executive Leadership Team who are not in a position to exercise substantial influence over the affairs of BJC HealthCare and who act in a personal capacity as agents of the fund.
