There are many ways to make a gift. We accept online gifts via our online giving form, gifts by mail with checks payable to The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, or gifts over the phone.

We also have extensive options for estate giving and gift planning, gift endowments, and gifts of appreciated securities.

Any donation received or postmarked by 12/31 of the year will be counted as a contribution for that year.

Exception: If a donor is paying by credit card and returning a response form via mail, the form must be received no later than 12/31. Donors wishing to donate by credit card via mail response whose forms are received after 12/31 will be recorded as contributions of the following year.

Visit our secure online giving form and fill out simple billing information with any major credit or debit card—similar to any e-commerce site with online shopping. Your gift will be processed immediately, and you’ll receive a confirmation via email, as well as acknowledgment by mail.

Yes. Please make your check payable to The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital and mail your gift to 1001 Highlands Plaza Drive West, Suite 140, St. Louis, MO 63110.

Yes, The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital accepts gifts of appreciated securities, including stocks and mutual funds. Please call Kathy McDermott at 314-273-0361 to initiate the transfer.

If you would like to make your gift online, visit our online giving form and select your desired giving frequency. 

We are honored that you chose to remember a special person or event by making a gift to The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Please visit our online giving form, and select “Tribute Information.” This will prompt you to complete information about your honoree and will provide you the option to include a personal message. We’ll notify your honoree that a tribute gift has been made in their name and include your message (without gift amount).

We are so grateful for the community members who show gratitude for the care they received over their lifetime by including the Foundation in their obituary. We are happy to assist with postage-paid, personalized envelopes to direct gifts to a chosen area. We will notify both honorees and donors upon receipt of gifts. Many donors can amplify the impact of their gift with their employer’s matching gift program. Please search our easy-to-use matching gift database to look up your company’s policy.

Our in-kind gift policy varies based on the type of gift. We happily accept gifts that can safely be used in our facilities, and our acceptance policies are guided by the best interest of our patients. Please call 314-286-0445 or email [email protected] to discuss the specifics of your gift.

Unfortunately, the Foundation cannot provide direct patient financial assistance, but we do support Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s social work department that assists patients with financial need in many ways. If you are seeking treatments at Barnes-Jewish, you may call the hospital’s Patient Financial Services at 314-747-9506 to explore payment plans and assistance.
