INVESTING IN THE NEXT GENERATION OF NURSES

The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital board member Tanja Schwendinger and her husband Bob, along with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College board member Gene Kahn and his wife Connie have partnered together to create the Schwendinger-Kahn Nursing Scholarship Challenge with a gift of $150,000.

Now you can impact the future of nursing!

Tanja and Gene designed this Challenge to inspire you to make a new or increased gift, specifically for student scholarship support.

As you know, nursing school is expensive, and for many people who aspire to be nurses and educators, the financial burden can be prohibitive. This philanthropic challenge is an opportunity for Goldfarb to open the door to the best, brightest, and most diverse students who would likely take a different path without this help.

In the face of a growing nursing shortage in our region and across the nation, this Challenge will help Goldfarb continue to attract dedicated, compassionate, well-educated students who will be the future of the nursing profession, and the caregivers for generations to come.

Please invest in the next generation of nurses by participating in the Schwendinger-Kahn Nursing Scholarship Challenge! Scholarships are life-changing for our students, the patients that they will ultimately serve, and the future of health care.

To make a gift, please call Marilyn Sheperd at 314-286-2241 or give online. Please indicate "Challenge" in the gray "Other" box on the giving form.
