As Siteman celebrates its 20th anniversary, The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital is grateful to the many generous donors who have helped make the center a national leader in cancer treatment and research.

The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital is committed to supporting research and programs that advance patient care at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, Siteman Cancer Center, Washington University School of Medicine, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College and community organizations throughout St. Louis.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital established The Heroes in Training Scholarship Fund to help Goldfarb continue to attract dedicated students who will be the future of the nursing profession and caregivers for generations to come.

On March 19, 2020, Philip Mudd, MD, submitted a grant request to The Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital for a large-scale clinical sample collection and processing program of SARS-CoV-2. With this data, the medical community is working to develop unique diagnostics and therapeutics to counter COVID-19.

Kathryn Lewis, a BJC Home Care and Hospice registered nurse, became alarmed when she visited a hospice patient at his rural Missouri home and found that his family was struggling to put food on the table.
